Our Story
Parklands Seventh-day Adventist Church has been a beacon of hope and faith in the heart of Nairobi for over two decades. What began as a small group of dedicated believers meeting in homes has grown into a thriving congregation serving hundreds of families.
Located on City Primary School off Limuru Road, our church has become known as "A Church in the City for the City" - a place where people from all walks of life come together to worship, fellowship, and grow in their relationship with God.
Over the years, we have been blessed to witness countless baptisms, marriages, and lives transformed by the power of God's Word. Our church continues to expand its reach through various ministries, community outreach programs, and evangelistic efforts.

What We Believe
As Seventh-day Adventists, our beliefs are rooted in the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ. Here are some of our core beliefs:
The Holy Scriptures
The Bible is God's inspired Word, the authoritative revealer of doctrines, and the trustworthy record of God's acts in history.
The Godhead
There is one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a unity of three co-eternal Persons working together for our salvation.
The Sabbath
The seventh day of the week (Saturday) is the Sabbath of the Lord, a day of rest, worship, and ministry.
Second Coming of Christ
Christ's return is the blessed hope of the church, when He will take His faithful ones to be with Him forever.

Senior Pastor
Pastor Jacob Laichena has been serving Parklands SDA Church since 2026, bringing a passion for biblical teaching and community outreach.
Pastor Evans Nyambune
Associate Pastor
Pastor Evans has been serving Parklands SDA Church for over 10 years, bringing a passion for community outreach and prayer ministry.
Elder Stephen Mwaniki
First Church Elder
Elder Mwaniki oversees the spiritual welfare of the congregation and coordinates the church board activities.
Elder Samson Were
Assistant First Church Elder
Elder Samson supports the church leadership and is actively involved in youth empowerment and community programs.
